Port Credit

Port Credit is a neighbourhood in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, located at the mouth of the Credit River on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Until 1974, Port Credit was an incorporated town within the County of Peel. The Port Credit waterfront is home to two marinas and offers expansive views of Lake Ontario and the Credit River alongside the Waterfront Trail. Port Credit today is a vibrant waterfront community, brimming with history, culture and personality.

With its small town charm and big city amenities, Port Credit is often referred to as the Jewel in the Crown of Mississauga. The community is very diverse and boasts over 400 unique businesses. Terrific shops of all kinds from clothing, books, music and giftware to health foods and home decor. Fast becoming the City’s Entertainment District, many restaurants, cafes and patios offer food and drinks from all over the globe, and live music 7 days a week.
